All aussies boxers are out of the finals at the London Olympics...Damien Hooper lost his super to z Russian 11-19, Jeff Horn was the last aussie boxing in the ring losing 21-13 to the Ukraine. Naomi the first lady to box in the first year of womans boxing at the Olympics unfortunately lost in her first bout, she had to fight in the middleweight division to make the Olympics giving away 6 kilo's to her opponent losing 24-17.

Hooper is turning pro, who he will fight under is the next question? Some say he needs a trainer who will teach him discipline, take out the cocky in Hooper and you will have a better boxer. Needs a good smack over his bare bum  ;)

DANIEL GEALE Aussie IBF world middleweight champion returns to Germany :)

IBF middleweight champion Daniel Geale and the team from Grange Old School Boxing return to challenge Germany's No1 WBA super middleweight champion Felix Sturm. This is Geale's third defence of the IBF title he won from Sebastian Sylvester mid last year and Sturm's fifteenth defence of the WBA title he won from Samoan, Maselino Masoe in 2006. Geale 31yrs is in for a gruelling night against Sturm 33yrs a fight likely to go the distance, two elite boxers ready to move forward in the world of professional boxing.

Technical boxers with the ability to create opportunity's in the ring provides precise timing and accuracy to land crucial points in their challenge to unify the IBF and WBA  middleweight titles. Sturm has boxed 309 rounds with 42 fights 37 wins, Geale has boxed 195 rounds with 28 fights the only loss on record to Mundine still in dispute to this day.  Proving to be the superior boxer in his fight against Sebastian Sylvester in May last year, Geale was awarded the points victory in a country known for it's home town advantage and the odds stacked against him only to return a year later to do it all again.

These are the fights the world wants to see and get behind, Geale is the man doing it with class, pride and honour representing Australia the true way. Skill, instinct and conditioning will benefit him on the night along with the guidance of Graham Shaw, his wrecking ball of a trainer sure to be keeping a close and watchful eye on Geale throughout the fight, link that up with the backing of Gary Shaw, Bill Treacy and Garrie Francisco you have a team ready to rock n roll. Let's hope the challenge of fighting Sturm on home soil in front of a passion enthused crowd pays off in the end and the judges are as loyal to their job as Geale is to representing his country and boxing community.

Boxing at it's best, fighting the best putting their titles on the line to unify and become lead players in a division of professional boxers willing to fight at the top of the game delivering A grade boxing for all to see deserves respect 'Go get him Geale' Tune in this Sunday and get behind Australia's IBF world champion Daniel 'Real Deal' Geale...

Should have been stripped but he vacated the belt and took off with his tail between his legs still claiming to be the man. I am watching on to see who he's next BIG opponent is in America, apparently he has linked up with 50cent who has now become a boxing promoter, Khoda no longer in his team apparently.

Good stuff, it's awesome  8)

When I joined Ozbiker 5 years ago people with an interest in boxing pretty much said there was no-one worthy of supporting and here Geale stands in front of you all, he's done the hard yards and is a great boxing representative for Australia...

Soliman,Mundine are two names that have been thrown out there, will be interesting to see who Geale and team Grange box next.

Australian middleweight champion Jarrod Fletcher 12.0.0 is in London doing preparartion training with coach Steve Deller for the Commonwealth title bout against Billy Saunders 14.0.0 on the 15th Sept. Turning professional in 2009 after a successful amateur career has seen him knock out 7 of his 12 opponents, his last outing with Les Piper winning a ten rounder by UD retaining his title.

Will keep you up to date with the Fighting Fletcher...

Saunders wins on a TKO round 2. some reckon it was stopped too early, but it looked like Fletcher was in real trouble.

be intersting to see if Geale will fight Mundine again, i reckon he is too good for Mundine, is well and truly a class above, i reckon he would be the last fighter in the world Mundine would wanna tackle.
