Lucas Browne v Ruslan Chagaev .. Gronzy, Russia 6.3.16

Russia’s superior boxing community welcomes Kazbek Promotions delivering a highly anticipated fight night earmarked for a change in the world of boxing a well matched event to be televised live on Main Event Australia undercard starting 6am AEDT..

“Our concept now is to pit well matched fighters against one another in frenetic tournaments to fans pleasure. We won’t contract anyone for long terms but we shall give worthy fighters enough opportunities to develop their skills by battling opponents of corresponding levels and skill assets. We shall make quality matchups between local fighters and foreign opponents”.

Australia No1 heavyweight Lucas Browne headlines what has shaped up to be a great night of boxing at the Gronzy Colosseum in Russia tonight for a chunk of the WBA heavyweight title against title holder Ruslan Chagaev. Browne is ready to take the next step in his boxing future taking up the mandatory position fighting WBA heavyweight champ, Chagaev is a tough world contender with a tight-fisted history in the boxing ring.

Boxing out of Germany Chagaev is a seasoned southpaw and no stranger to competing at world level taking on heavyweight giant Nikolai Valuev in 2007 winning a twelve round decision, pushing forward through the ranks in 2009 earning the right to fight undisputed heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko and fighting top ranked heavyweight Alexander Povetkin two loses in his 19 years as a professional boxer.  A solid contender loved by many boxing enthusiasts for his powerful skills a great test for Browne at this stage of his heavyweight journey representing Hatton Promotions and Boxing Australia team Browne are confident of a victory prepared to go twelve rounds if that’s what it takes to bring home the WBA belt.

Improving with every professional fight boxing under the close eye of former world champion Jeff Fenech moving on in last year Browne teamed up with respected former British WBO & WBC middleweight champion Nigel Benn and trainer Rodney Williams. Stepping up his skills and honing in on the final touches in preparation for the WBA heavyweight title Browne talks about using his height and reach to his advantage and sparring with southpaws in the lead up by far the biggest fight of his career. He has been waiting for this day going crazy and bursting with energy to show the world how far he has come and how far he can go. Tuned in to the serious side of boxing has seen Browne in fights against experienced US boxers James Toney, Travis Walker, Clarence Tillman and Chauncy Welliver collecting international belts along the way winning the British Commonwealth Heavyweight title in the UK April 2014.

Get ready to watch two heavyweight warriors battling it out at the top, a fight between two strong contenders willing to put it all on the line leaving their mark in heavyweight history.

BLAKE CAPARELLO V ANDRE DIRRELL

Atlantic City, New Jersey will house Boxing Australia wild card Blake Caparello in his second attempt to trump world champions of his division televised free today on FOX 11am AEST. Team Caparello have secured a fight with Andre Dirrell ranked five by WBC and IBF, a confident boxer proven to be aggressive with superior skills in the ring, an impressive record of twenty four wins, two loses to current IBF super middleweight Jason Degale and former three time world super middleweight champion Carl Froch.

The fight is a welcomed challenge for team Caparello, always ready to take the big fights head on after great success in the light heavyweight division beating Elvir Muriqi in New Jersey 2014 and testing his skills against WBO Light Heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev taking up the next challenge put before him in Andre Dirrell favoured to win. Caparello is no stranger to the world of boxing, he’s a cagey southpaw willing to take risks stepping in to the ring August 2014 challenging the now IBF WBO WBA Light Heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev, a challenge other boxers hide from.

Danny Green v Kane Watts 3.8.16

Big Time Boxing and Green Machine Promotions are in tune for a big night of boxing at the Hisense Arena, Melbourne Victoria on August 3 headlining two of Australia’s top Cruiserweights Danny Green 34.5.0 and Kane Watts 18.2.0. Expect to see a battle of two Aussie Titan’s tomorrow night, one young and hungry the other an experienced boxing veteran starved from a ten year drought for retribution. Kane Watts is the man standing between Danny Green and Anthony Mundine’s highly anticipated rematch, ranked four in the cruiserweight division Watts has everything to gain with a win over Boxing Australia’s former triple world champion Danny Green.

Green has a solid challenge ahead of him if his last fight is anything to go by, after a year’s absence from the ring his fight against Argentinian Roberto Bolonti last year was bitter sweet for his team and fans, lacking power and dominance on the night Green boxed safe, a different level of boxing compared to his world title fights of the past. Green has stepped in to the ring with some of the best of his division, Antonio Tarver knocked Green off his winning streak in Sydney 2011 claiming the IBO cruiserweight title, challenging Poland’s WBC champion Krysztof Wlodarczyk four months after the loss on Green’s home turf of Perth took him into deeper waters over eleven rounds defiant he came...
